Exotic travels inspire the works of my jewelry and fashion designs. India has been my underlying inspiration, especially Rajasthan, which evokes a similarity Venice, Italy. Jaipur, the beautiful “Pink City”, is also a source of continued inspiration with its decadent palaces, red city walls that are illuminated at night, and its sensory experience, filled with exotic flavors, spices and smells. India, for me, is truly the country of love. Every moment and piece of architecture reflects a man’s love for another, encompassing the beauty of their union and adoration. Spending time in-and-around these landmarks is a culturally rich experience.
In Jaipur, I absolutely love Rambagh Palace, the former residence of the royal family. Now a Taj property, its beautiful heritage and opulent rooms live on in grandeur. Its divine for an afternoon tea, enjoying sunset vistas, taking in the moon rising over the city, and breathing in the rich history. It’s one of the best keep secrets in the city and gives you a glimpse into royal life. It’s truly a secret escape with the entire city at your feet.
